Qualifications

• Over 5 years of Army logistics experience.
• GCSS-Army and LMP experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related field.
• Secret clearance required.
• Demonstrated experience in Army supply and transportation procedures.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain installation access.

Job Overview

The Logistics Analyst III serves as the Lead for the Logistics Analysis section. This individual oversees supply chain operations, analyzes data to optimize efficiency, and develops strategies to reduce costs while ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role often involves assessing carrier performance, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to streamline transportation, warehousing, and inventory management processes. Key responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying bottlenecks, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. This individual may also mentor junior staff, manage complex shipments, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior U.S. Army logistics analytics experience
• Expertise in supply chain analysis
• Experience with multiple Army STAMIS systems, including GCSS-A and Vantage
• Proficiency with MS Office products, including Power BI and Power Automate
• Previous leadership experience

Security / Compliance Requirements

• Secret clearance required
• Must comply with all installation access requirements
• Must complete all required Government training
