Job summary

Crystal Clean LLC is seeking a Transportation / Logistics Analyst to optimize freight movements, data-driven decisions, and supply chain efficiency across operations and IT interfaces. You will build dashboards, monitor KPIs, evaluate TMS tools, map end-to-end processes, and develop business cases to support cost reductions and service improvements with cross-functional teams.

Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings to management are essential, as is hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field or 2+ years in transportation/logistics/supply chain operations
• Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledge of logistics modes (truckload, LTL, ocean, air) and supply chain principles
• Strong verbal and written communication, including presenting findings to management
• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve operational issues

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities
• Create dashboards and reports for operational and financial metrics (fuel, carrier performance, freight spend)
• Evaluate and enhance Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other software tools
• Map and document end-to-end transportation processes
• Support business strategies through network optimization, carrier negotiations, and project management
• Develop business cases, cost/benefit analyses, and project proposals
• Liaise between business units, IT, and external partners (carriers, vendors)
• Monitor KPIs and on-time delivery to ensure compliance and quality
