Job summary

The Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Logistics Analyst in Atlanta, GA. This role applies analytical methods to understand, predict, and control Logistics operations, focusing on data management, performance analysis, and recommendations to management.

You will support multiple projects, manage vendor relationships, and communicate insights across levels within the Logistics organization. A strong starter with attention to detail is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to the job or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience.
• Experience with Six Sigma or other process improvement methodology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, Visio).
• Advanced skills in Mini-Tab, Access, SQL, and Visual Basic for data acquisition and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze reports to support business execution.
• Develops business tools and solutions and identifies process improvements for Logistics.
• Supports vendor/business partner relationships.
• Develops and maintains cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models.
• Performs data management through data mining, modeling, analysis, and cost/benefit analysis.
• Supports ad-hoc queries and maintains reports for department needs.
