Job summary

Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is seeking a Logistics Analyst in the United States, near Euclid, OH. The role handles receipt and shipment of materials, export/import compliance, and documentation for domestic and international shipments.

Candidates will support inventory goals and OTD targets while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree and ERP/MRP experience.

Eaton's AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Logistics Analyst.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

Position Overview: The Logistics Analyst encompasses all necessary functions to support receipt and shipment of all materials both domestic and international. They will process and manage MRO receipts, lead the logistics team to meet all internal and external customer requirements, meet international export and import requirements, and ensure compliant recordkeeping.

In this function you will:

• Process sales order shipments and work in process shipments. Prepare, process, and distribute shipping documentation to support commercial, government, domestic and international shipments. Comply with all international and hazardous shipping regulations. Maintain hazardous certification.
• Process all customer portal shipping requirements. Identify any customer special label placement requirements and communicate with the dock attendant. Process accurate and timely export customs filing per the regulations. Coordinate receipt of documentation from forwarders on Routed Transactions.
• Maintain and follow customers provided routing guides, pack slip notes or determine mode of transportation based on Eaton routing instructions. Interface with customer service to identify customer requirements. Communicate customer service documentation errors prior to completing shipment. Support OTD goal.
• Consolidate freight, schedule carriers and maintain carrier systems. Analyze small package premium spend. Support transportation cost-out as needed. Lead in implementing Eaton carrier changes.
• Prioritize material receipts. Receive, unpack, verify and record all incoming materials, supplies, customer orders and equipment. Support inventory goals, coordinate process RTV. Review incoming documents and mark pertinent information to support system receipt. Perform system entry receipt and follow proper distribution of inspection reports, certification, source inspection card.
• Match material receipt labels to material receipts, provide certification to Receiving Inspection, consolidate and tag for movement.
• Prepare incoming MRO receipts and generate work orders to support turnaround time. Help in processing PIP and RMA.
• Audit international procurement entries to ensure import compliance. Manage import recordkeeping.
• Audit MRO international entries to ensure import compliance and to reduce unnecessary duty/tax spending.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Minimum two (2) years of logistics experience
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Euclid, OH will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

Preferred qualifications:
