Job summary

Bi-Mart Corporation seeks a Logistics Administrator to support the Distribution Center in Eugene, Oregon. You will help manage office and warehouse inventories and provide administrative and logistical support for inbound transportation operations to ensure smooth flow of merchandise to our stores.

Qualifications

• Maintains an effective filing system and handles calls for stores and office personnel.
• Supports booking domestic collect orders and codes inbound freight bills.
• Ensures adequate inventory of office supplies.
• Works with vendors to create purchase orders.
• Processes supply invoices and special office supply requests.
• Keeps work area neat and organized.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Warehouse Systems Supervisor.

About The Distribution Center Team

Bi-Mart’s distribution center, truck shop, and logistics department are located in Eugene, Oregon and provide service to 83 stores located throughout Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Bi-Mart’s fleet of trucks are maintained by our knowledgeable on‑staff mechanics and are driven by on‑staff drivers with excellent long‑standing safety records.

Every distribution center, truck shop, and traffic employee is united in a common goal the movement of merchandise from our distribution center to the stores in an efficient and safe manner. By utilizing logistics and an automated replenishing system, as well as hard work and dedication, these employees meet the needs of the stores and, ultimately, our customers every day.

Logistics Administrator Requirements

• Develops and maintains an effective filing system, answers phone for self and back up phone support for the Warehouse Systems Supervisor, helps to provide timely responses to requests, questions and concerns for stores, office personnel and outside contacts.
• Provides support for booking domestic collect orders; verifies and codes inbound freight bills.
• Ensures adequate inventory of office supplies.
• Work with vendors and create purchase orders to meet supply needs.
• Processes supply invoices.
• Processes requests for special office supplies.
• Keeps supply and work area neat and organized.
• Performs other duties and tasks assigned and directed by the Warehouse Systems Supervisor.

Schedule

800 - 500, Monday - Friday

Hours may vary depending on workload and assignment
