Job summary

The role is full-time in North Charleston, SC, with on-site work five days a week and a possible telework day. Collaborative communication with leadership is a key expectation to ensure compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Level Clearance is required.
• High School diploma/GED or related military experience.
• 5 years of professional experience solving technical problems.
• Trained in engineering and/or software design/maintenance concepts.
• Ability to interpret plans and drawings for test sample fabrication.
• Familiarity with CAD and shop drawing preparation.
• Experience with material management and inventory control.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.

Overview / Job Responsibilities

Entarian is seeking a Logistician to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) Expeditionary Enterprise Systems and Services (E2S2) Division. NIWC Atlantic provides design, acquisition, and sustainment services for Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Information Technology (IT) systems.

Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Secret Level Clearance
• High School diploma/GED, related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate.
• 5 years professional experience solving technical problems.
• Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance.
• Possess a practical understanding of engineering concepts.
• Ensures that the product/service and process meet quality and safety standards.
• Experience includes testing equipment to make sure that the process operates effectively and safely.
• Individual shall be able to interpret plans and drawings and contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens.
• Should have experience in computer aided drafting (CAD), ability to prepare shop drawings for model construction, and be familiar with material specifications and fabrication methods.
• Material management (shipping, receiving, movement between locations, etc.)
• Inventory control (counts, issuing, maintaining stock)
• Review and analyze records in inventory management systems (GCSS-MC, CMPro, etc.)
• Familiarity with MS Office suite (especially Excel)
• This role requires exceptional communication and active listening skills, with an emphasis on clarity, consistency, and collaborative dialogue. The successful candidate will maintain ongoing, proactive communication with leadership to ensure alignment, support informed decisionmaking, and foster a strong, transparent working relationship.

On-site requirements

• 5 days a week in Bldg. 198 with 1 day optional telework
• Core hours are 0900 - 1500
