Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Logistics Dispatcher to support the transportation of electrical utility materials and equipment across ITC regions, under the supervision of the Warehouse General Foreman. The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years in dispatch/logistics, knowledge of shipping, DOT permitting, and travel across ITC regions.

Proficiency with PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years in dispatching or logistics coordination.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving operations preferred.
• Familiar with DOT permitting requirements and regulations.
• Willing to travel across ITC regions for training and duties.
• Experience with PeopleSoft order processing is preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently or in a group.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
• Familiar with ITC ROWs, stations and facilities.

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Warehouse General Foreman this position will be responsible and accountable for supporting and coordinating the transportation of electrical utility materials and equipment to support field personal in the ITC regions.

Job Qualifications

The successful candidate(s) should possess the following experience and/or skills:

• A high school degree
• 3 + years of dispatching or logistics coordination
• Preferred knowledge of shipping and receiving operation
• Familiar with DOT permitting requirements, rules and regulations
• Must be willing to travel to all regions within the ITC footprint to participate in training and job duties
• Manager order processing through Peoplesoft (experience preferred)
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Be available during off-duty hours.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Must be able to work independently or in a group environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft applications
• Able to work in all ITC related ROWs, Stations and Facilities.
