Job summary

Leggett & Platt's Hanes Industries division is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator in Conover, NC. You will oversee daily domestic shipments, coordinate with vendors, and optimize inbound and outbound flows, including intermodal and cross-border movements, while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in logistics, experience with ERP and TMS, and strong communication skills to partner with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline with 3–5 years of relevant professional experience; or a bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years of relevant professional experience with at least 1 year of direct experience in domestic logistics operations
• Strong knowledge of shipping practices, Incoterms, and customs regulations
• Experience with ERP systems and transportation management systems (TMS)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Maintain accurate records of shipments, documentation, and keep an organized e-mail inbox

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experiencedLogistics Coordinator with a strong background indomestics logistics and supply chain operations. This role is responsible for overseeing daily domestic logistics activities, ensuring efficient truck movement of goods inbound and outbound, cross-border, and intermodal while maintaining compliance with transportation regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing shipments, coordinating with domestic and/or international vendors and freight forwarders, and optimizing logistics workflows.

Key Responsibilities
