Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Logistics Supervisor to oversee frontline operations for asset monitoring and replenishment across hospital units.

You will coordinate payroll-related tasks, support patient safety, and collaborate with multiple departments to improve asset availability while maintaining essential records and contributing to hospital improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year experience in Logistics and 1 year Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the day to day frontline operation for asset monitoring, tracking and replenishment for hospital units.
  • Completes departmental tasks such as payroll, employee appreciation events, disciplinary action, organizing schedules and other related tasks.
  • First line of contact for all issues regarding timeliness of asset allocation and patient safety concerns with hospital assets.
  • Flexible with offering leading frontline operations of other departments as needed depending on hospital capacity needs.
  • Participates in selected steering committees when frontline input is requested for various hospital improvement initiatives.
  • Assists in maintaining adequate records and metrics on external vender performance and service against preset milestones.
  • Duties performed may include one or more of the following core functions: a) Directly interacting with or caring for patients; b) Directly interacting with or caring for human-subjects research participants; c) Regularly maintaining, modifying, releasing or similarly affecting patient records (including patient financial records); or d) Regularly maintaining, modifying, releasing or similarly affecting human-subjects research records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
