Eurofins is seeking a Login Technician I to support sample handling, data entry, and lab prep in a fast-paced environment. Primary duties include receiving samples, logging in items, labeling, and ensuring proper preservation and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive samples, unpack coolers, label containers, and log in samples.
• Enter data for sample login with strong attention to detail.
• Verify sample preservation per SOPs and transport to appropriate lab areas.
• Assist with disposal queue, weighing, pipetting, and reagent/preparation tasks.
• Perform basic aseptic techniques, media prep, labeling, and plating.
• Produce bottle kits and handle shipping, receiving, and login duties.
• Document work clearly and follow safety and company guidelines.

Job Description

Login Technician I responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Receive samples, unpack coolers, label containers, scan shipping documentation, and perform sample login
• Data entryfor sample login with a high level of attention to detail
• Verify sample preservation, following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Delivery of samples to walk-in refrigerators or lab areas after receipt
• Assist with sample disposal queue and actions
• Assist with accurate weighing, pipetting skills, preparing volumetric reagents and standards
• Perform basic aseptic techniques, media preparation, labeling, plating
• Produce bottle kits, add preservatives to containers, and perform shipping, receiving, and login duties
• Perform basic mathematical calculations and transcribe numbers
• Clean equipment, such as glassware, coolers, sinks, tables, samplers using solvents, water and detergents or acids according to Standard Operating Procedures
• Document all work accurately and clearly
• Follow safe work practices and adheres to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner
• Performs other duties, as directed

Role is 1st shift, 9:30am - 6:00pm, M-F, with additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs routinely and safely and must be able to work standing for most of the day
• Basic computer skills
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Ideal Candidates will be:

• Detail oriented
• Familiar with sample login
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Familiar with MS Office programs such as Outlook, Explorer, Excel and Word

Additional Information

Pay rate: $17.75/hour
