Job summary

Paragon Energy Solutions, LLC in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Logic Design Engineer to join our Innovation team and support the development of advanced nuclear reactor control, monitoring and safety systems. You will partner with the design team to research, design, implement I&C solutions and prepare design artifacts.

The role requires a BS in Systems or Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years in I&C/FPGA work, strong MATLAB/Simulink skills, and FPGA with VHDL/Verilog experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 3 years designing I&C systems or FPGA development.
• MATLAB and Simulink experience required.
• FPGA development with VHDL or Verilog required.
• Experience with Xilinx, Microsemi and/or Altera FPGAs desirable.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with system design team to research, design and implement I&C solutions

Requirements:

• Experience working on successful major system development projects is highly desirable.
• Experience with MATLAB and Simulink is required.
• Experience with FPGA development and VHDL or Verilog is required.
• Experience with Xilinx, Microsemi, and/or Altera FPGAs is desirable.
• Proven ability to create real and positive change, think creatively and respond rapidly to changing priorities and customer needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, competing priorities and tight deadlines simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and accuracy
