Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, seeks a seasonal Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across resort properties. The role requires pool chemical certification, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility for night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Seasonal housing and benefits are available to staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• CPO certified in maintaining balanced pools and hot tub chemicals.
• Team player who can work well with others.
• Willing to learn new skills and perform tasks safely and promptly.
• At least mid-level maintenance skills.
• Service oriented and self-motivated.
• Computer skills highly desirable.
• Willing to perform duties at multiple Deer Valley Resort locations.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Night shifts, weekends and holidays availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair Deer Valley properties and common areas.
• Handle pool chemicals, sealers, and painting products; work on ladders/scaffolding and operate tools.
• Perform grounds maintenance, snow removal and general grounds care.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall and related systems.
• Electrical: pumps, condensers, motors, lighting and 3‑phase panels.
• Plumbing: install fixtures, troubleshoot leaks and drainage issues.
• Carpentry: cabinets, walls, doors and related woodworking.
• Drywall repair and interior/exterior painting when needed.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To perform routine and preventative maintenance, trouble-shoot and repairs within Deer Valley Resort properties and common areas.

Responsibiilities

• Will work with various chemicals including pool chemicals, concrete sealers and painting products
• Includes working on ladders and scaffolding, use of power tools and equipment, as well as operating company vehicles in a variety of weather conditions
• Perform grounds maintenance, snow removal and ground care
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the following: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall and various texturing
• Electrical: HVAC - Understands electrical systems and HVAC systems. Troubleshooting, service, and repair of pumps, condensers, motors, lighting and 3 phase electrical panels and circuits
• Plumbing: Install faucets, seats, drain seals. Remove/install toilets, auto flushers. Troubleshoot drainage problems, water leaks, lack of water and effect repairs
• Carpentry: Understand woodworking and carpentry. Work on cabinetry, counters, walls, stairs and doors
• Drywall repair and painting interiors and exteriors when needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license

• Must have at least mid-level maintenance skills

• Work schedules may include night shifts, weekends and holidays
• Basic hand tools required, specialty tools provided
• Must be flexible to work in various Deer Valley Resort property locations and will work various shifts
• Must be able to perform heavy lifting, strenuous work, such as snow removal
• Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
