Job summary

BAS Healthcare, Inc. seeks an Advanced Practice Provider for an urgent care center in Roanoke Rapids, NC. You will care for adults and children (6 months+), in a fast-paced setting with a robust support staff.

As the sole provider, you will see 40–60 patients/day, perform minor procedures (I&D, wound repair, ear irrigation), and work with Epic EMR. NC license, board certification, BLS, NC DEA, and 12+ months urgent care experience required; Wednesday EMR training; no calls or overnight shifts;

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of urgent care experience.
• Board Certification, BLS, and NC DEA are required.
• Licensed in North Carolina.
• Proficient with Epic EMR (training provided on Wednesdays).

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care for adults and children (6 months+).
• Manage high-volume patient care (up to 60 per day; average 40 at this site).
• Perform minor procedures (I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation).
• Work as the sole provider with strong support staff.
• Must pass credentialing and onboarding successfully.

Job Details:

• Provide urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up)
• Handle high-volume patient care with up to 60 patients per day (average 40 for this site)
• Work as the sole provider in the center with strong support staff team
• Perform minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other urgent care procedures
• Must have at least 12 months of experience and board certification required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system required - training provided on set Wednesdays
• Must be licensed in North Carolina only
• Required certifications: Board Certification, BLS, NC DEA
• Must pass clinical screening and complete mandatory EMR training and onboarding
• Maintain positive attitude embodying high-quality healthcare culture
• Support multiple locations within 60-mile radius as needed
• No call requirements or overnight responsibilities
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 20 days
