Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a breast imaging specialist for a locum tenens assignment in Virginia. The role focuses on breast imaging and interventional procedures in a busy clinical setting.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with no call coverage and a volume of 25–40 patients per day (2–3 consults). Mammography, breast US, and breast MRI are required; biopsy and needle localizations are preferred. Weatherby provides travel and housing support, plus paid malpractice.

Qualifications

• Breast imaging expertise required.
• Interventional procedures experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI.
• Breast biopsy and needle localizations preferred.
• Cover 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday with no call coverage.
• Manage 25–40 patients per day with 2–3 consults daily.
