Job summary

Locums Choice is seeking a radiologist for a locum role in Missouri. The assignment covers mostly Diagnostic Radiology with some Interventional Radiology. Start date is November 2 for six months, with a schedule of two weeks per month (Mon-Fri, no weekends, no call).

Readouts will include MRI, CT, US and X-ray across 40–50 exams per day, 10–14 IR procedures daily. Preference is for MO licensure, though all qualified providers will be considered.

Qualifications

• Preferably MO licensed, but will consider all qualified providers.
• Mostly Diagnostic Radiology (80-90%) with some Interventional Radiology (10-20%).
• Diagnostic radiologists comfortable with light IR prioritized (LPs, myelos, paras, thoras, etc.).
• IR procedures/day: 10–14.
• Reads/day: 40–50 exams/day across MRI, CT, US, XR.

Responsibilities

• IR procedures: 10–14 per day.
• Reads: 40–50 exams per day across all modalities (MRI/CT/US/XR).
• Schedule: 2 weeks per month (Mon-Fri), no weekends, no call.

Job description

• Dates and weeks are flexible (could be 2 weeks straight or every other week).
• We expect a start date of November 2 for a period of 6 months (10 shifts per month).

Details:

• Preferably MO licensed, but will consider all qualified providers.
• Will consider both diagnostic & interventional radiologists. However, it will be mostly DR (about 80-90%) w/some light IR (10-20%).
• If you have a diagnostic radiologist comfortable with light IR (LPs, myelos, paras, thoras, etc.), we will prioritize those providers.
• IR Procedures/Day: Varies from 10-14
• Reads/Day: Depends on complexity but between 40-50 exams/day (all modalities: MRI, CT, US, XR).
