Job summary

Locums seeks a Psychiatric Clinic Lead Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to deliver behavioral health care via telehealth across New York. The role includes psychiatric assessment, medication management, and leadership in collaboration with primary care teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment recommendations.
• Provide behavioral health consultation to care managers, primary care providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Manage psychiatric medications and adjust treatment based on guidelines and clinical needs.
• Provide psychopharmacology, brief psychotherapy, cognitive/behavioral interventions, psychoeducation, advocacy, and emotional support.
• Monitor mental status, treatment effectiveness, and patient outcomes; modify interventions as appropriate.
• Provide telephone consultation for complex or urgent behavioral health cases.
• Collaborate with primary care and community providers to coordinate care and communicate plans.
• Educate and train primary care staff on behavioral health conditions and treatments.
• Support integrated behavioral and primary care services; maintain compliant documentation.

Responsibilities
