Job summary

CompHealth is seeking healthcare providers for hospital assignments in the Birmingham, AL area. The recruiter will coordinate housing, travel, credentialing, licensing, and other logistics to streamline the process.

Responsibilities

• Call only coverage -- 30-minute response time required
• 25 - 30 patients seen per 24 hours
• Inpatient rounding and admissions coverage
• 6 - 10 phone consults per 24 hours
• Critical care skills required -- sepsis, respiratory and cardiac arrest
• Ventilation management (invasive and non-invasive) required
• Chest tube insertion required
• Bronchoscopy and thoracentesis preferred
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
• We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
• Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry
• Your specialized recruiter takes care of every detail
