Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a locum tenens physician to cover weekday and weekend shifts in New Jersey. The assignment features roughly 30 patients per day, with 10-minute sick visits and 15-minute well visits, and a high Spanish-speaking population.

Scheduling is two-week blocks with specific days (Wednesday/Friday first week, Friday/Saturday second week; Saturday 9am-3pm). Travel and housing are pre-paid, and malpractice insurance is provided.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with urgent care or primary care settings preferred.
• Locum-to-permanent options are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled visits (well and sick) with 10-minute sick and 15-minute well visit durations.
• Handle approximately 30 patients per day in the assigned shifts.
• Work in a high Spanish-speaking patient population; use interpreter services if needed.
