Job summary

Kidney in El Paso, TX seeks a locum tenens Pediatric Urology Physician for call-only coverage with light rounding and consult volume. Inpatient cases with RN support and opportunities in pediatric/neonatal urology are described.

Ideal candidates are board-certified in Urology, hold an active Texas medical license, and possess ACLS/BLS/PALS. Travel logistics such as airfare/lodging are provided, with in-house and pager call duties included.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO degree.
• Board certification in Urology required.
• Active Texas medical license required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient pediatric urology call with RN support.
• Assigned and unassigned patient rounding.
• Pediatric and neonatal urology with advanced pediatric surgery preferred.
• Broad endoscopic, laparoscopic, stone, reconstructive, and robotic procedures preferred.
• Call-only coverage; in-house and pager call.
• Approximately 1–2 callbacks per 24-hour shift.
