Job summary

CompHealth is seeking gastroenterology locum coverage for inpatient hospital assignments with 7 am - 5 pm shifts and weekend call. You’ll perform upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, PEG, and lower GI procedures, with 1:4 beeper call and 15–30 minute response times, in North Carolina region as per listing.

Qualifications

• Inpatient gastroenterology experience is required.
• Endoscopy and GI procedures experience is required.
• Availability for ongoing coverage: one week per month plus one weekend call per month.

Monday - Friday, 7 am - 5 pm (10-hour shifts) plus weekend call

10 - 15 patients per shift -- inpatient rounding

Inpatient hospital-based gastroenterology coverage

Call ratio 1:4 -- beeper call with 15 - 30 minute response time

Upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, PEG, and lower GI procedures required

Small bowel biopsy and flexible sigmoidoscopy skills required

Ongoing coverage -- one week per month plus one weekend call per month

We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
