Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks physicians for hospital-based locum tenens assignments in California. Typical shifts are Monday–Friday, 7 am–3 pm or 7 am–5 pm, with weeknight and weekend pager call. Cases include General, ENT, Endo, Regional, Ortho, Thoracic and Vascular, with healthy pediatric patients; no cardiac or OB cases.

The position is hospital-based with required hospital privileges. Weatherby provides paid malpractice insurance and prepaid travel and housing expenses, plus 24/7 consultant

Qualifications

• Must have hospital-based practice experience.
• Hospital privileges required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital-based coverage for General, ENT, Endo, Regional, Ortho, Thoracic and Vascular cases.
• Handle weeknight and weekend pager call.
• Care for healthy pediatric patients; no cardiac or OB cases.
