Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare in Des Moines, IA, is seeking obstetrics providers for locum tenens assignments including 24-hour in-house shifts from 7 am to 7 am, with approximately 463 deliveries per year. New graduates and experienced physicians welcomed; pre-paid travel and housing and paid malpractice insurance provided.

The team covers OBED and emergent patients, vaginal deliveries and C-sections, and operates the state's only maternity transport unit.

Qualifications

• Experience with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections and emergency OB care.
• Ability to provide obstetric coverage for 24-hour shifts.
• Open to both new graduates and experienced providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric care including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• 24-hour in-house shifts with on-call availability.
• Coordinate with maternity transport and obstetric emergency teams.
