Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking locum tenens physicians for outpatient OB/GYN coverage in a Washington, DC area clinic. Typical shifts run 7 am–3 pm or 8 am–7 pm, 40 hours per week, with peak 10–15 shifts monthly and 5–10 off-peak.

Expect 20 patients per shift, no on-call duties, and support from Weatherby throughout placement. Responsibilities include OB care (low/high risk), vaginal and cesarean experiences, minor gyn procedures, and ultrasound screening.

Qualifications

• R interpretation and Level I screening ultrasounds required.
• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations required.
• Outpatient clinic experience with obstetric/gynecologic patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient obstetric/gynecologic care in a clinic setting.
• See an average of 20 patients per shift.
• Coverage of peak 10–15 shifts per month with 5–10 off-peak shifts.
