Job summary

The Locums OBGYN Physician position in Manchester, NH, offers flexible 7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM shifts in a 24/7 midwife model with in-house coverage. Day shifts back up the night shift, and occasional 24-hour shifts may be available.

You will supervise residents, provide OB/GYN coverage for the ER, and manage roughly 1,000 deliveries per year, including circumcisions and D&C for miscarriages, with no terminations performed at the hospital.

Qualifications

• Board Certified OBGYN with active New Hampshire license.
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications are required.
• Willingness to obtain NH license if not already held.
• Experience in high-volume obstetric care and operative skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide OBGYN coverage in a 24/7 midwife model with in-house presence.
• Supervise residents and participate in resident education.
• ER obstetric coverage and management of approximately 1,000 deliveries per year.
• Perform circumcisions and D&C procedures for miscarriages; no terminations performed.

We are seeking a LocumsOBGYN Physician to provide coverage in Manchester, NH. This opportunity offersa flexible schedule with two shift options: 7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM. Providers working the day shift will take backup pager call for the night shift,though call-ins are rare. Occasional 24-hour shifts may also be available. The Locums OBGYN Physician will work in a 24/7 midwife model, ensuring continuous in-house coverage alongside a midwife. This role includes supervising residents, providing OBGYN coverage for the ER, and assisting with approximately 1,000 deliveries per year (averaging 2-3 per day). The physician must be proficient in performing circumcisions and D&C procedures for miscarriages, though no terminations are performed at the hospital.
