Job summary

CompHealth is offering locum opportunities in New Mexico for OB/GYN physicians. The position covers full scope clinic and call responsibilities, including inpatient and outpatient settings with a 25-patient shift, 30-minute response time, and a 1:1 call ratio requiring 100% callback.

The role includes performing OB ultrasounds (Level I and II) and managing deliveries such as C-sections, breech, VBAC, and multiple births.

Qualifications

• Board-certified obstetrics/gynecology physician.
• Experience with high-risk pregnancies and deliveries.
• Inpatient and outpatient experience beneficial.
• Ability to perform OB ultrasounds and interpret results.

Responsibilities

• Full scope clinic and call coverage.
• Attend 25 patients per shift in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Respond within 30 minutes with 1:1 call ratio and 100% callback.
• Perform C-section, breech deliveries, VBAC, abruptions, and multiple birth deliveries.
• Perform amniocentesis and repair of third and fourth degree lacerations.
• Credentialing and privileging processes are simplified by the recruiter.
