Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a neurovascular/interventional radiology specialist for a Virginia assignment. The role requires 24-hour call coverage and rapid response to emergencies, with daily evaluation calls and procedural responsibilities.

The position includes performing intracranial thrombectomy, carotid stenting, angioplasty, aneurysm coiling/embolization, vasospasm management, and other neurovascular treatments, with travel and lodging expenses prepaid.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for neurovascular procedures.
• Maintain call response time within 30 minutes.
• Handle 3–5 evaluation calls per day.
• Perform intracranial thrombectomy and carotid stenting.
• Perform angioplasty with intracranial and extracranial requirements.
• Treat neurovasculature conditions including vasospasm and aneurysm coiling/embolization.
• Ensure paid malpractice insurance; arrange pre-paid travel and housing.
• Enter assignment details and time entries via online portal.

Job description

• Friday 7 am - Monday 7 am -- 24-hour call coverage
• Call response time: no greater than 30 minutes
