Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks a Locums Neurology Physician to cover inpatient services in Richmond, Indiana. You should be comfortable managing acute neurologic conditions and performing a broad range of inpatient procedures.

Assignment dates include December 14–21, 2026, with potential for additional future dates. Board-certified/eligible neurologists with a minimum of two years' experience and an active Virginia medical license are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Active Virginia medical license.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Flu vaccination required; exemptions may be considered.
• COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions may be considered.
• For Board Eligible physicians, certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient neurology coverage in Richmond, Indiana.
• Manage acute neurologic conditions and perform a broad range of inpatient procedures.
• Provide thrombolytic therapy for stroke when indicated.
• Coordinate care with hospital teams for comprehensive patient management.

We are seeking a LocumsNeurology Physician for inpatient coverage in Richmond, Indiana. This is anexcellent opportunity for a neurologist comfortable managing acute neurologicconditions and performing a broad range of inpatient procedures.

Assignment Details

• Coverage Dates: Monday, December 14,2026 at 7:00 AM – Monday, December 21, 2026 at 7:00 AM
• Potential for additional future dates
• Inpatient Neurology coverage

Required Skills &Procedures

Mandatory:

• Thrombolytic therapy for stroke
• EEG
• EMG
• Spinal/paraspinal/epidural blocks
• Brain death examinations
• Lumbar punctures
• Subdural taps

Non-Mandatory:

• Nerve biopsy
• Muscle biopsy
• Nerve conduction velocity (NCV) testing
• Botulinum toxin (Botox) administration
• Evoked potentials
• Peripheral nerve blocks

Qualifications
