Job summary

Curative is seeking an MD/DO board-certified Neurological Surgeon for locums coverage in Ohio. You will provide inpatient neurosurgery coverage with 24-hour on-call responsibility, supported by APP and ICU/hospitalist resources.

Responsibilities include ED consults, ICU-driven needs, and potential weekend or holiday coverage. Start late December 2026 with flexible, as-needed scheduling and long-term block opportunities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO credential required.
• Board-certified in Neurological Surgery.
• Ohio medical license required; will not wait for license.
• Ability to provide 24-hour on-call neurosurgery coverage.
• Experience with inpatient neurosurgery coverage and ED/ICU calls.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurosurgery coverage for scheduled gaps.
• Perform 24-hour on-call coverage as needed.
• Manage ED consults and ICU-driven operative needs.
• Support the neurosurgery team with after-hours intervention when required.

Practice Setting

Schedule

• As needed coverage
• 24 hour coverage while on service, on call 24 hours per day every day during your coverage period
• Scheduled as 24 hour shifts, in house during the day, beeper after hours
• Estimated start date is late December 2026
