Weatherby Healthcare seeks on-call surgeons for locum tenens assignments in North Carolina. Duties include general surgery procedures with OB/GYN support, minor vascular tasks, and chest tube management. You will cover 7am to 7am shifts, handle 1–4 admissions daily, and assist with phone consults per shift.

Hospital privileges are required. Weatherby offers paid malpractice, prepaid travel and housing, and 24/7 consultant support. NALTO charter member.

Qualifications

• Experience in general surgery procedures; on-call duties only.
• Minor OB/GYN procedures including hysterectomy; chest tubes.
• Minor vascular experience preferred; hospital privileges required.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-call coverage from 7am to 7am; 1–4 admissions daily.
• Handle 1–4 patient days and 1–3 phone consults per shift.
