Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a board-certified pediatric interventional radiologist for a locum tenens assignment in San Diego, CA. The role includes regular weekday hours with night and weekend on-call, performing biopsies and drainage procedures in a pediatric IR setting.

Responsibilities include liver, kidney, bone, and soft tissue tumor biopsies, drainage procedures, and injections. Travel, lodging, malpractice coverage, and 24/7 consultant support are provided by Weatherby.

Aufgaben

• Perform pediatric interventional radiology procedures, including biopsies of liver, kidney, bone, and soft tissue tumors.
• Conduct drainage procedures such as chest tubes, abscess drainage, and nephrostomy.
• Manage GJ tube, PICC, HD catheter, thyroid FNA, LP, and joint injections.
• Provide on-call coverage: M–F 7 am–5 pm with night and weekend call.
