Job summary

International Society on Thrombosis and Hemostasis seeks a full-time hematology/oncology clinician for an outpatient clinic with inpatient call. The role features a 9:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule, 8 hours guaranteed daily, and a weekly call pattern including overnight and weekend components.

Travel, lodging and malpractice coverage are provided. Active CA medical license is preferred, with board certification or eligibility and a minimum 2 years of recent inpatient experience.

Qualifications

• Active California medical license preferred (providers needing licensure will be considered).
• Board certification or eligibility in hematology/oncology preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient hematology/oncology experience.
• Clean malpractice and professional history strongly preferred.
• Must be eligible for hospital privileges.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic with inpatient call.
• Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-4:30 PM (1-hour lunch).
• 1 week of phone-only call every 3 weeks.
• Weekend call is 24-hour phone call only (no hospital callbacks).
• Oncology clinic connected to chemotherapy infusion center and hospital.
• 8 guaranteed hours per day.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice provided.
• Full-time providers preferred; 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off schedules may be considered.
