Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment seeks a locums General Surgery Physician in Paducah, Kentucky, for a full-time 26 weeks/year schedule. The role includes 2 weeks on/2 weeks off blocks and roughly 1–2 consultations daily, with about 1 operation per day to support trauma and acute care services.

Position Highlights

• Schedule: 26 weeks per year


• BlockSchedule: 2 weeks on/2 weeks off preferred; longeror shorter blocks may be considered


• DailyConsults: Approximately 1–2


• AverageOperations: Approximately 1 per day


• APPSupport: None initially


• EDAnnual Volume: Approximately 39,680 visits


• ProjectedAnnual Consults: Approximately 492, withvolume expected to increase


• ProjectedAnnual Operations: Approximately359, with volume expected to increase

Requirements:

• BoardCertified or Board Eligible


• Comfortableproviding independent surgical consultation and operative care


• Abilityto work effectively in a developing surgical program
