CompHealth is seeking a locum tenens surgeon to cover ED and inpatient services in Wytheville, VA. The assignment features call coverage 7 am – 7 am, two weeks per month, with no clinic duties and an average inpatient census of 15.

Robotically-trained surgeons preferred; on-site da Vinci system and extensive case logs are expected. We arrange complimentary housing and travel, provide comprehensive malpractice coverage, and offer weekly pay with a streamlined credentialing process.

Qualifications

• ED and inpatient coverage experience required.
• Must have ATLS, ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Proven proficiency with central lines, abdominal surgeries and chest tubes.
• Robotically-trained surgeons preferred with on-site da Vinci system.

Responsabilités

• Provide ED and inpatient coverage; no clinic duties.
• Call coverage: 7 am–7 am, two weeks per month.
• Maintain case logs from past 2 years and complete credentialing promptly.
• Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry.
