Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. is seeking a Locums Gastroenterology Physician to provide weekend call coverage in Northampton, Massachusetts. This is a call-only opportunity with coverage needed approximately one weekend every five weeks.

The physician will perform inpatient GI consultations and rounding for adult patients in a hospital setting, with the hospitalist team taking first call. Endoscopic procedures such as upper and lower endoscopy and colonoscopies will be performed as

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active Massachusetts medical license
• BLS certification
• Current DEA registration
• Comfortable providing inpatient GI consultation, rounding and endoscopic procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide weekend call coverage for GI in a hospital setting.
• Provide inpatient GI consultation and management for adult patients.
• Round on patients with hospitalist team taking first call.
• Perform endoscopic procedures as needed (upper and lower endoscopy, colonoscopies)

Job description

We are seeking a LocumsGastroenterology Physician to provide weekend call coverage inNorthampton, Massachusetts. This is a call-only opportunity with coverage needed approximately one weekend every five weeks.

The physician will provide inpatient GIconsultation and management for adult patients in a hospital setting. Thehospitalist team takes first call, with the gastroenterologist providingspecialty backup and performing procedures as needed.

Compensation: $2,800-$3,000 Per Day
