Weatherby Healthcare seeks a gastroenterologist for inpatient call coverage in Somerset, KY. The role requires performing upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, PEG, colonoscopy, and related procedures with rounding on an inpatient basis.

You will handle a 1:3 beeper call, seeing about 12 patients per 24-hour period. Ongoing assignment with ASAP start, plus paid malpractice, and pre-paid travel and housing expenses.

Qualifications

• Inpatient practice with rounding required.
• Upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, PEG, colonoscopy, and more.
• Sigmoidoscopy and small bowel biopsy performed.

Responsibilities

• Provide call coverage with a 1:3 beeper call ratio.
• See approximately 12 patients per 24-hour call period.
• Inpatient rounding and procedures as listed above.
