This is an ongoing, ASAP-start opportunity within a collaborative emergency medicine team. The ED handles a broad mix of adult and pediatric cases with 8 beds (expanding to 12), 24-hour physician coverage, and a Level IV trauma designation.

Qualifications

• Emergency medicine experience is preferred.
• Active Texas medical license is required.
• Current DEA license is required.
• Current ACLS/PALS as applicable.
• Clean clinical file and ability to obtain hospital privileges.

Position

Emergency Department

• 15,000+ annual ED visits
• Approximately41–43 patients/day
• 8-bed ED, expanding to12 beds
• Level IV Trauma Center
• 24-hour physician coverage
• EstablishedAPP coverage
• Meditech Expanse EMR
• Broad mix of adult andpediatric emergency cases

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling
• Day and/or night shifts
• Exact shift times to beconfirmed
• No call

Clinical Support

• 24/7 physician coverage
• Work alongside physiciansand other clinical staff
• Established emergencymedicine team
• APP support within the ED

Requirements

• NP or PA
• Emergency Medicineexperience preferred
• Active Texas license
• Current DEA
• Current ACLS/PALS asapplicable
• Clean clinical file
• Ability to obtain hospitalprivileges

Compensation

• Competitive hourly ratebased on experience
