Northeast Healthcare Recruitment is partnering with a Mount Juliet, Tennessee facility to hire a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for ongoing PRN coverage.

This position offers 12-hour shifts with day and night coverage on an indefinite PRN basis, in a busy ED of 11 beds and 3 treatment chairs. You will evaluate and treat ED patients, determine admissions and transfers, and provide timely, high-quality emergency care.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine via ABEM is required.
• Active Tennessee medical license.
• Ability to cover day and night shifts.

Emergency Department Details

• Average patient volume: 2–2.1 patients per hour


• Approximately 10% of patients require admission or transfer


• No designated trauma center

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the Emergency Department.


• Manage a broad range of acute and emergent medical conditions.


• Determine appropriate admissions, transfers, and discharges.


• Provide timely, high-quality emergency care to patients.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine through ABEM (required).


• Active Tennessee medical license.


• Ability to provide coverage for both day and night shifts.
