Job summary

CompHealth is seeking an inpatient psychiatric clinician to work with children and adolescents in a designated acute unit. The schedule runs 7 am to 5 pm with a 10-hour guarantee, and shifts typically involve rounding on assigned patients with admissions.

The role requires pharmacotherapy experience and familiarity with involuntary commitments, seclusion and restraint. CompHealth provides housing and travel arrangements, weekly pay, malpractice coverage, and a streamlined credentialing process

Qualifications

• Pharmacotherapy experience required.
• Familiarity with involuntary commitments, seclusion, and restraint.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on assigned patients and admissions on the inpatient unit.
• Care for children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders.
• Manage a typical shift of ~12 patients with a 7 am–5 pm schedule.
