Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks an experienced anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment in Mesa, AZ.

You will provide full-scope general and regional anesthesia, including endoscopy cases, with Monday–Friday hours 7 am to 5 pm and no on-call obligations. Level 1 trauma experience and board certification are required.

The position includes paid travel and housing, as well as malpractice coverage, with Weatherby consultant support throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified anesthesiologist required.
• Experience in Level 1 trauma settings preferred.
• Broad general anesthesia skills including endoscopy.
• No obstetrics, cardiac, or pediatric anesthesia in scope.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope general and regional anesthesia.
• Include endoscopy cases in the case mix.
• Maintain safe anesthesia care in a Level 1 trauma environment.
• Work Monday–Friday, 7 am–5 pm with no on-call obligations.
