Pet Services of Washington, P.S. in Houston, TX is seeking a Locum Veterinarian to provide temporary medical coverage for the hospital team. You will examine patients, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, perform procedures, and communicate with clients while upholding standards of care.

The role requires a DVM/VMD, active state license, and ability to work with a diverse team. Prior small animal practice is preferred; flexible scheduling is available to cover shifts as needed.

Formación

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.

Position Summary

The Locum Veterinarian provides temporary medical coverage to support the hospital's veterinary team in delivering high-quality patient care. This role is responsible for examining patients, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, performing medical procedures, and communicating effectively with clients and team members while maintaining hospital standards of care.

Essential Responsibilities

Qualifications

Schedule

Temporary coverage based on hospital needs. Flexible scheduling may include weekdays and occasional weekends.

Reason for Requisition

This position is needed to provide temporary doctor coverage to maintain continuity of patient care, support hospital operations, and ensure client service standards are met during staffing gaps or leave coverage.
