Job summary

Curative seeks a vascular surgeon for a locum-tenens, call-only inpatient role in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The physician will operate under hospitalists for admissions with three advanced practice providers supporting the service.

Responsibilities include 24-hour beeper coverage, a 1 in 3 call ratio, and rapid response within 30 minutes, with several consults and cases daily. Board certification in vascular surgery and an active SC license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Board certification in vascular surgery required.
• Active South Carolina medical license required.
• ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Adult inpatient vascular surgery coverage with 24 hour beeper call.
• Hospitalists handle admissions; approximately 1 in 3 call ratio.
• Respond to calls within 30 minutes and manage phone consults.
• Expect 3 phone consults and 5–10 patients seen during call coverage.
• Procedures include thoracic/abdominal aneurysm repairs, peripheral bypass, vascular access, and AV shunt work.
