Job summary

Curative seeks an MD or DO, Board Certified in Urology, to provide hospital-based inpatient urology coverage. Expect consults, rounding, procedures, and post-operative care with a high-volume schedule in a Level III trauma setting.

Requirements include a Texas Medical license, BLS, and DEA. This assignment involves air travel, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered for scheduled coverage blocks.

Qualifications

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Board Certified in Urology.
• Active Texas medical license required.
• BLS and DEA required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient urology coverage with consults, rounding, procedures, and post-operative management.
• Manage ~10 patients per day and ~50 procedures per month.
• Two half-day post-operative clinics during each coverage block with no new patient visits.
• Robotic platform available but robotic experience is not required.
