Job summary

77 consultants is seeking a Locum Urology physician to provide high-quality on-site care in Pendleton, Oregon. The assignment is contract-based with 24‑hour call shifts and involves a broad range of urological services from consultation through surgery and follow-up.

The ideal candidate will be MD or DO, completed Urology residency, board-certified or board-eligible, and hold an active license with 2+ years of urology experience.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Urology.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Urology.
• Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the applicable jurisdiction.
• 2+ years of clinical experience in urology, appropriate for an associate-level position.
• Proficiency in urological surgical procedures, including minimally invasive techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urological consultations, evaluations, and follow-up care for patients.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, including kidney stones, urinary tract infections, prostate disorders, and urological malignancies.
• Perform urological procedures and surgeries, including minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's clinical needs.
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and urodynamic studies.
• Collaborate with nurses, advanced practice providers, and other medical professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient medical records in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Provide on-call coverage and emergency urological care as required.
• Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
