Job summary

77 consultants is seeking a Locum Urology physician to provide on-site, high-quality urological care in Michigan. You will diagnose, treat, and manage urological conditions, with weekend call coverage (12p-7a) and 5 consults per day, 8-15 surgical cases weekly, using Epic EMR.

Travel and expenses are paid; DEA and state license required. Ideal candidates will have MD/DO, completed Urology residency/fellowship, board certification or eligibility, and strong clinical judgment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completed residency and fellowship training in Urology.
• Board certification or eligibility in Urology; active DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose urological conditions across diverse patient populations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for urological disorders.
• Perform clinical examinations, procedures, and follow-up consultations.
• Manage chronic urological conditions including prostate, kidney, bladder, and urinary tract disorders.
• Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic imaging and laboratory results.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with other specialists as needed.
• Document patient encounters accurately and maintain compliant electronic health records.
• Adhere to clinical guidelines, patient safety standards, and practice policies.
• Communicate treatment options and outcomes clearly to patients and families.
• Support continuity of care during coverage periods.
