Job summary

CompHealth is seeking locum coverage in a hospital setting with 24-hour shifts and coverage on weekdays and weekends. You may perform cystoscopy/stent placements and kidney stone treatments as needed, with housing and travel arranged and malpractice coverage provided.

Rounding is required if procedures are performed and the patient remains inhouse. Credentialing is streamlined and an online portal provides assignment details and time entry.

Qualifications

• Inpatient hospital setting experience preferred.
• Ability to support cystoscopy and stent placement for hematuria when needed.
• Ability to manage kidney stone treatment such as extraction or holmium laser lithotripsy.
• Foley catheter consultation with ED and other providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour shift coverage in a hospital setting.
• Rounding required if locum performs procedures and the patient remains inhouse.
• Coordinate care with ED and inpatient teams for procedures and admissions.
• Assist with the credentialing and privileging process; use online portal for assignments and time entry.
