Job summary

The Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, Inc. seeks an experienced Physician Assistant to join its Urgent Care team at Kaiser Permanente Maui Lani Medical Office in Wailuku, Central Maui.

This high-acuity urgent care position offers collaboration with PCPs and specialists within a fully integrated health system, using EPIC EMR to support patient care across all ages.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA program.
• Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred.
• NCCPA and BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of post-training experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine.
• Recent experience caring for patients as young as 6 months.
• Must commit to a full-time schedule for a minimum of 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Practice high-acuity urgent care within an integrated health system.
• Care for a diverse patient population across all ages.
• Coordinate follow-up with patients' PCPs for continuity of care.
• Collaborate closely with specialists and staff.
• Utilize the Epic EMR to support integrated care.
