Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Medicine Physician for locum tenens support in California. The position is a standard clinic schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with float coverage to area clinics. Expect to see 20–25 patients per day in an urgent care setting.

Required credentials include California medical license, BLS, and board certification or eligibility, along with DEA and DOT certifications. Credentialing timeframe is approximately two weeks.

Qualifications

• Active California medical license required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Occupational/Family Medicine.
• DEA and DOT certifications required.
• BLS certification.
• Credentialing timeframe about 2 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Mon–Fri 8a–5p, 20–25 patients per day; float to area clinics.
• Deliver patient care in an Occupational Medicine clinic setting as locum tenens.
• Provide Urgent Care services as part of the clinic workflow.
