Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking inpatient cardiology coverage in Kentucky. The assignment involves weekday shifts from 7 am to 5 pm, totaling 10-hour workdays, with no weekend call and a patient load of 15–20 per shift. Procedures include echocardiography, TEE and nuclear cardiology, with STEMI patients included.

Malpractice insurance is paid, and travel and housing expenses are prepaid. You will have 24/7 access to a Weatherby consultant and work within a Weatherby network that supports NALTO

Qualifications

• Inpatient cardiology coverage required.
• Experience with non-invasive procedures such as echocardiography, TEE and nuclear cardiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cover inpatient cardiology shifts on weekdays from 7 am to 5 pm (10-hour shifts).
• Weekday call only with no weekend call.
• Handle a patient load of 15–20 per shift.
• Coordinate with independent NPs and manage STEMI patients.
• Record time entries in the online portal and participate in assignment details.
• Take advantage of paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses.
• Access Weatherby Healthcare consultant 24 hours a day and rely on Weatherby as a charter member of NALTO.
