Job summary

CompHealth APP is seeking a Physician Assistant for Urgent Care in Kennesaw, Georgia. This locum tenens position spans 13 weeks with shifts including afternoons and evenings, weekends, and a patient load of 10–15 per shift.

Housing and travel are provided, with licensing and malpractice coverage arranged by us. CompHealth APP supports credentialing and privileging extensively, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Urgent care experience preferred.
• Physician Assistant license to practice in Georgia (or eligible).
• BLS/ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care evaluations and treatments for walk-in patients.
• Perform laceration repair, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal.
• Work with shift patterns including 1 pm–11 pm, 1 pm–1 am, and weekends; average ~138 hours per month.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Urgent Care
• Duration: 13 weeks

• Monday - Friday 1 pm - 11 pm or 1 pm - 1 am, weekends 11 am - 9 pm or 11 am - 11 pm
• 10 - 15 patients per shift
• High-acuity urgent care facility
• Laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal required
• 10 or 12-hour shifts spanning weekdays and weekends
• Approximately 138 hours monthly
