CompHealth is seeking a Locum Tenens General Surgeon in Tennessee for full-time coverage. The role features 14 on/14 off scheduling with 7 am–7 pm, 11 am–11 pm, or 11 pm–11 am shifts, and about 32–36 patients per shift in an inpatient setting requiring admissions.

The team includes 2 APPs on day shift to assist with rounding and patient load; laparoscopic skills are preferred, with experience in appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication.

Qualifications

• Laparoscopic surgery skills preferred.
• Appendectomy and cholecystectomy experience preferred.
• Hernioplasty and Nissen fundoplication skills preferred.
• In-house call with 30-minute response time.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient practice setting with admissions required.
